Intro to Web Development: CSS

July 31 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Queen City Bytes is partnering with Charlotte Mecklenburg Library to help you learn the basics of CSS. This class is friendly for entry-level and beginners!

THIS WORKSHOP:

This month’s workshop is all about CSS. During this time, we will coach you through best practices, semantic structure, tags, and more using MDN’s free getting-started guide.

In this class we will building off of our previous HTML class, which builds upon a simple home page to kickstart your next website.

Didn’t attend our HTML class? That’s okay! Please message us before the workshop and we’ll provide you with the code to get started.

We will NOT be coding the JavaScript for the home page during this workshop – be on the lookout for our “Intro to Web Development: JS” class next month as a follow-up to this class.

9:00 – 9:45: Intro to CSS
